Ice is a resource harvested from Ice Comets, which randomly occur in systems.
They are mined, via mining laser, to produce Ice, which is harvested via logistics drone. ice is then processed in an Ice Grinder into Waste Water
the only purpose of ice is to produce water, it cannot be sold
