Ore: Difference between revisions

[[Ore]] is a resouce which can be mined from [[Asteroid]]s by using [[Mining Laser]]s, and [[Logistics Drone]]s to collect the Ore. They currently serve three purposes: selling to [[Trade|traders]], completion of [[Contract]]s, and [[Smelter|smelting]] to [[Ingot]]s.

Precious Ore can be mined outside of Contracts at any time from Asteroids, and can be smelted into [[Metal#Precious Metal|precious metal]]. It sells for 2,100 or 2,200 per stack.

Tilium Ore only appears during Contracts to extract it. However, it can continue to be mined beyond the delivery amount. It is noted in-game that Tilium Ore is refined into [[Fuel]]. As stated in update 2, it is refined into FTL fuel, presumably [[FTL Charge]]s.

Tilium ore can be refined via a [[smelter]] into [[Metal#Refined Tilium|Refined Tilium]]. It stacks to 30.
