Meteors are hazards formed in star systems experiencing a meteor shower. They are most commonly found in asteroid belts, but can be found elsewhere.
Meteors are the primary threat during asteroid mining and are often a threat during rescue missions and combat.
Ice comets tend to appear alongside meteors.
