Tanks provide storage for oxygen, water, fuel and other resources. They can be used to provide a stable supply of resources to equipment e.g. fuel to reactors. Crew members will refill tanks from canisters using set up loaders when necessary.
The crew can repair damaged tanks. When a tank is destroyed, all contents are lost and irrecoverable. Currently, only small tanks and medium can be purchased. Large tanks can only be looted from Derelict Ships.
