The Shuttle is how traded resources and Contract objectives enter and leave your ships. The shuttle will connect to the ship's Docking Port and resources, boxed equipment, cargo, or passengers will enter the ship. Resources, boxes, and cargo will be moved to Storage by Crew Members, and passengers will enter the habitation deck via a Ladder.
If the player conducts an FTL Jump while a shuttle is connected to the Docking Port, any resources, boxes, or passengers which have not been loaded onto the ship will be left behind, meaning they cannot count towards a mission objective and resources and equipment must be repurchased.
