Contracts are jobs that players can accept to earn money. Aside from a few story missions, contracts are procedurally generated from a collection of mission types.
Story Contracts
Provision the science vessel
You have requisitioned a new science vessel and must prepare it for use.
- Recruit 5 crew members
- Buy five space suits
- Buy five barrels of fuel
- Buy five canisters of oxygen
- Buy five barrels of water
- Buy five FTL charges
- Buy five boxes of food supplies
Make your new ship ready for flight
Build the ship's flight and FTL jump systems, and make your first jump.
- Build a reactor for power
- Build engines for propulsion
- Build a fuel loader for the reactor and engines
- Build an airduct to release oxygen
- Build an oxygen loader for the airduct
- Build an FTL Drive
- Test fire the engines in Tactical view
- Make an FTL jump
Open Contracts
Analyse
Collect data on the expanding void. You will be provided with Hyperspace Sensors that need to be install on the hull of the ship. During FTL jumps, these sensors collect data. You will receive $1000 per data at each magnitude of collection: 10, 100, 1000, etc.
