The Last Starship is currently in Early Access. The game is incomplete but available for purchase and receives updates with new features, bug fixes, and improvements. The development process will be accompanied by regular update videos from Chris Delay and Mark Morris. This period will explore various game modes, including the vacuum collapse anomaly.[1]
A bug tracker hosted on GitHub was announced with the release of Alpha 3.
The game is expected to be in early access for several years, as was the case with the Prison Architect early access period. Similarly, all updates and new content will be free to those who have purchased the game.
