Food is a green resource which cannot be removed for it's canister. Canisters of food can be purchased from traders or salvaged by logistics drones.
Food is a life requirement for the population, and must be present on the ship for long term survival.
Food is consumed by the population at a rate of 4 per cycle per individual.
Unlike the other life requirement water, there is currently no way to generate or recycle food, and can only be purchased or salvaged.
